Brooks Social Media

Brooks have a huge following across their social channels and release highly creative campaigns. ISI Global provide a supporting role in producing the animated content that is published across Instagram and Facebook. This 3D showreel captures an overview of the different campaigns I’ve led and contributed to for Brooks.

The process often involves a detailed briefing where I’ll then develop a storyboard and a range of styleframes to decide upon the narrative and visual direction. Most of the assets are already pre-determined and provided by Brooks. It’s up to us at ISI to interpret those visuals and elevate the product through dynamic animation.

Hyperion Elite 2

This animation features the Hyperion Elite 2. The product’s USP is that it’s lightening fast, so the animation plays on this concept including fluid transitions and sharp movement.

Run Fund

Often the content is produced to support a campaign. The animation below was produced to showcase the new Run Fund campaign by Brooks. This activation piece inspired runners to share their big ideas, with a chance to see it become a reality. The video features 2D and 3D animation. I also produced a looping run cycle for the Piggy by applying character rigging using Rubber Hose. The text was animated in such a way it enabled me to quickly change the copy without affecting the dynamic movement. This was done using the character value to apply fluid movement to the text.

Glycerin 19

The Glycerin 19 launch involved the production of a 2D animation to support it’s release. This project involved a heavy amount of artworking to enable the parallax method where the foreground and background move independently to one another. This is achieved by masking out the artwork and then painting/clone stamping the missing parts to give the impression of slo-mo action in this case. It’s a highly skilled and effective technique that brings to life otherwise what was once a static asset. The video was designed for Instagram and seamlessly looped. As with all the content produced for Brooks it had to feature as both tile art and as an Instagram story. The video was also translated to five different languages.

Trails

Brooks approached ISI to produce a short animation for Instagram to introduce the full range of trails running shoes. The brief was simple, to bring to life and highlight each running shoe by showing it in it’s home environment. The animation was designed to seamlessly loop to ensure the sequence repeatedly plays without interruption.
